Mission
Troubleshoot all mechanical and electrical equipment for paint line
Main Activities
Weld and fabricate all modifications
Make all necessary repairs and preventive maintenance checks for paint equipment
Keep equipment clean and dust free
Assist Automation Tech with needed repairs
Apply 5 “S” Standards to paint line equipment
Attend all classes and training required by Plastic Omnium
Install and maintain a wide variety of complicated electrical, electronic transmission testing and Control equipment, single or 3 phase, up to maximum, voltage used plant and on injection equipment
Diagnose and solve any type of electrical or electronic trouble with switchboards, test boards, motors, starters, switches, circuits and controls
Install conduit and wiring, piping for pneumatic or hydraulic systems
Build from wiring diagrams and sketches, large single phase and 3- phase equipment
Diagnose and repair breakdowns to electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment in Injection Dept.
Keep up with existing changes in National Electrical code
Operate a variety of power tools including grinders, drill presses, saws-all
Responsible for rigging and moving machinery and accurate installation
Assure all equipment is properly lubricated and maintained
Troubleshoot and diagnose repairs on all paint line equipment
Assist maintenance technicians in other groups as required
Competencies
Must pass medical evaluation for respirator use
Be able to wear a personal harness
Be able to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometer, dial indicators, Veneer
Calipers and depth gauges
Having a working knowledge of PLC, PC and robotics
Requires ability to check general conditions as to wear diagnose bearing wear, shaft conditions

Activities

Assigned responsibility for reporting Business Unit CI performance and activity, by attending CIP Network conference calls/meetings (as defined by CIP Manager)
Requirements:

Paint Quality Engineer

MISSION:
Manages issues and problem solving for internal and external customers. Support launch of new products. Ensures process control. Contributes to continuous improvement. Coach and develop quality mind set within the operational team.
ACTIVITIES:
Quality Problem Solving
Ensures that for every quality incident, the right quality tools are applied by the production personnel (through training, coaching, leading). Root cause analysis, action planning, application of containment measures, e.g. quality wall or controlled shipping
Is responsible to define and release rework instructions and their application.
Where necessary defines a Problem Alert for critical internal and external issues.
Participates in regular part rejections analysis with the customer for 0km and Warranty.
According to the customer requirements or depending on the quality results, sets-up a quality wall, manages (organizes and trains) the quality wall quality inspectors (also third party)
Visits the Customer (internal & external) regularly to establish a long term relationship.
Applies and coaches the use of 8D and QRCM in production. Maintains the Customer Quality Fast Response Board and process FMEAs.
New Product Launch
Participates with PQL in the development of PFMEA and the control plan
Supports the definition of limit samples together with the project team for new products
Participates with the project team in the poke-yoke definition for the new products,
Sets-up limit samples and Problem Alerts and organizes training with the production area leaders. Trains the operators together with production area leader.
Contributes to, or, leads the initial sample PPAP submission and Customer run at rate together with the Plant Quality manager.
Participates and supports MPM during run @ rate and during all manufacturing readiness operations
Develops together with the manufacturing engineering, CI and HSE, the Standard Work (SPS, SWI) for all production processes.
Process Control (Control Plan Adherence)
Check/ Audit that every poke yoke in place is tested by the production team at the start of every shift
Check/ Audit that the controls are rigorously respected and escalate in event of non-compliance * Updates and follows up the quality production indicators
Participates in the daily area production scrap reviews.
Update, file and archive all documents related to his/her activity
Takes part through the process auditors in regular (layered) process audits and 5s audits
Continuous Improvement
Participates in the Quality Improvement Roadmap activity- as assigned
Leads or participates in working group as required per customers, production or quality manager
Contributes to installing preventive actions to avoid internal and customer issues
Actively support the plant training using the AE University modules

Plant Engineer

MISSION:
Responsible for all manufacturing process including injection, paint, assembly, bonding and process flow methods and equipment
Deployment of POMS methodology and best practice
Provides engineering support to the manufacturing teams and to the OPTIPRO project team for the launch of the new equipment in the plant and the realization of the manufacturing readiness
Provides engineering support to the manufacturing teams to improve and optimize injection and/or paint process
Activities:
For new projects he/she will:
Manage capacity and anticipate need for equipment modification and capacity adjustments
Work with the industrial project team (Injection leader or paint leader) and in relation to equipment supplier managing day to day equipment installation follow up
Investigate project feasibility
Initiate and publish FMEA’s includes improvement follow-up
Ensure equipment meets technical and performance specifications
Create and Evaluate the safety and environmental risk assessments linked to the implementation of new installations, including the impact on human resources
Organize and coordinate new equipment and processes trials in the plant
Participate in commissioning activities, provisional and final acceptance
Participate in reception of manufacturing means/equipment/process
Validate injection, paint, assembly, bonding and process flow operating standards and procedures in accordance with POMS and process Golden Rules
In cooperation with industrial teams, participate in new manufacturing production means, specifications and reception in the plant
Keep and update new equipment documentation
In cooperation with maintenance and production teams, write contractor safety programs and risk prevention plans
Write all workstation instructions in cooperation with manufacturing teams
Update new product documentation.
For existing processes provided, he will:
Propose, test and validate technical solutions to improve manufacturing performance performance (productivity, quality, safety, availability, safety, risk )
Participate in action plans to restore regular process and follow daily follow up
Give production team assistance and training
Analyze process failures root cause analysis using (POMS A3) (temperature, speed, hygrometry
ventilation…/ speed, pressure, MFI …) and adjust process settings
Share all experience with structured feedback to métiers and project team members
Supports manufacturing for process failure analysis
Organize and coordinate new materials and processes tests in the plant.

Supply Project Manager

MISSION:
Is responsible for all purchasing activities related to the program (excluding CAPEX).
Is responsible for the Q, C, T of suppliers free sourced his project.
Is responsible with the lead buyer for sourcing activity.
Is responsible for the purchasing budget (hours & money) allocated for the project.
Is in charge to manage closed purchase order for his project and to follow payment schedule.
Is responsible for the non-event launch related to supplier.
Gap to target, PPAP on time, tier2 readiness, project hours management (status & forecast), contribution to cash in/cash out, work packages OPTIMAP
ACTIVITIES:
Sourcing process:
In the respect of the purchasing policy, he/she establishes the supplier short list for the project with the lead buyers.
Gathers all key information for complex RFQ and identifies the market constraints, the targets, the time schedule for each activity.
Negotiates according to the quality, cost and deadline project’s targets.
Proposes and compares alternative solutions.
Addresses the sourcing recommendation to the Sourcing Board. He/she writes the contracts and implements them.
Ordering and payment:
Manages purchase request and purchase order related to his project.
Follows payment schedule to suppliers.
Coordination & tracking:
Identifies the project’s risks and opportunities, to plan each activity, to coordinate them internally & externally and to track them up to final realization.
In case of critical topic related to supplier and QCT, he leads associate task force, and escalates to commodity team and management.
Supplier quality & non-event launch:
Participates in project plan definition and follow-up (lead by the Supply Quality).
Supports Supplier Quality on major roadblocks.
Attends launch readiness and tracks purchasing deep red points.
Implements Tier 2 readiness process with objective of non-event launch related to suppliers.
Organizes project transfer to the commodity buyer / country buyer.
Project Management:
Defines initial Statement of Work of purchasing perimeter including extended team, regarding project perimeter, development budget (hours, hourly rate, travel cost), split of activity between SPM and extended team and Optimap Work Packages
Leads functionally the extended team activity for his /her project.
Prepares project status (RPM document) for his manager who attends milestones reviews.

Budget management:
Validates at the beginning of the project provisional budget (hours and cost) in accordance to initial project perimeter and project objectives.

Assembly Department Supervisor

Mission: Assist the assembly manager in the daily operational aspects of the assembly and sequencing process (safety, quality, and productivity).
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Verify / Sign Off on records for each process = Parameter Check Sheet's / First Piece Inspections / etc..
• Gather SPC, production, or other measurement data as required and report it to appropriate parties
• Monitor Production Associates to ensure proper procedures / work instructions are followed. Address any non-conformance found immediately
• Communicate / Record to the time keeping system all associate hours worked and every attendance issue
• Maintain production reports for quantity and quality / scrap and insure they are correct (system and actual match) [Reconciliation Procedure]
• Review and update all necessary records on a daily basis
• Interface with production associates to ensure completeness and accuracy of information they provide (quality indicators, production statistics, and process adherence).
• Manage department to meet or exceed all goals including standards meet and zero overtime above customer demand
• 5S: Maintain Normal Expectation Levels. Complete daily patrols: identify and correct any concern observed and reinforce expectations with the team. Participate in Continuous Improvement tools (POSITIVE, POMs, Focused Improvement Roadmap, etc)
