 MAIN ACTIVITIES:

·   Ensure the Safety of yourself and others.  You are to always follow safe work practices and behaviors.    You are responsible for the safety of yourself and the work area / department / plant in which you work.  Including but not limited to maintaining a safe work environment and immediately reporting unsafe conditions.

·       Practice and support 5S – It must be the foundations for all effective shop floor management.  Clean as you work.  Take proper care of your area, it is a reflection of you, if it isn’t performing then you’re not performing.

·   Through effective personal performance

o Support Process and Product Quality – Reduce first time rejects and scrap by practicing effective standardized work practices.  Identify defects according to customer specifications and properly disposition defective parts.

o Through effective performance ensure Cost Targets are met.  Including maintaining cycle time targets and Assemble parts with meeting production quantity targets, properly controlling supplies cost, and controlling overtime to minimum or zero above customer requirement

·       Read, understand, and complete all production labels, work instructions, check sheets

·       Complete all other activities as assigned by the department leadership

·       Participate in Continuous Improvement tools (POSITIVE, POMs, Focused Improvement Roadmap, etc)

Tooling Coordinator

MISSION:

Supervise the tooling technicians ensuring that molds are maintained and processes are developed and followed.

 

 MAIN ACTIVITIES:

•Ensure Safety policies are understood and respected within assigned areas of responsibility.

•Manage tool room.

•Transition new tools into plant operations.

•Assist technicians with troubleshooting when needed.

•Develop and coach technical team.

•Coordinate and follow-up on preventative maintenance activities.

•Maximize tool performance.

•Support Quality Systems requirements.

•Apply accountability to ensure that processes and policies are followed.

 

 

 COMPETENCIES:

•High School diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred

•Minimum five (5) years’ experience in tool repair and electrical; hydraulic experience is a plus

•Operate lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, hand saw and hard tools

•Must be able to weld (mig & tig) on molds and fabrication and jigs and fixtures

•Must be able to wear a personal harness.

•Problem solving skills

•Communication skills

•Ability to process and troubleshoot injection tools

•Previous management experience

•Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs without assistance

•Technical skills (i.e. tool design, etc.)

•Computer skills

Osmosis Technician

MISSION:

Is responsible for all osmosis activities 


 

ACTIVITIES:

·       Monitor PH – adjust as required

·       Monitor Conductivity – adjust as required

·       Clean pump screens of primer, basecoat and clear-coat systems

·       Take water samples and adjust accordingly

·       Manage waste drums – Remove, label, stage for pickup

·       Remove sludge waste bags and replace with new

·       Perform PPCM on reverse osmosis and sludge system

·       Clean osmosis and basement room and floors

·       Keep inventory and usage of all chemical products

·       Other activities

                                 I.            Adjust detack pumps

                               II.            Adjust flocculent pumps

                             III.            Add caustic as necessary

                            IV.            Test bacteria content, treat for bacteria if necessary

                              V.            Check RO unit and add salt as necessary
